Safari Nzuri has now
organized two family trips to
question the trips will remain a lifetime travel highlight for each and every
one of us. The variety of activity, flora, and fauna was exceptional.
Even more importantly, from a parent's perspective traveling with three young
adults, the mechanics and accommodations for the trips were flawless.
Friendly, knowledgeable people timely met and guided us through each stage of
the trips which resulted in a wonderful human experience for all. In
these days of unrest we felt as safe as one could with the knowledge that you
had done your homework and had the local contacts to show us a wonderful

Safari Nzuri has organized two African vacations for us, both of which were roughly four weeks in duration. We have appreciated several aspects of how Safari Nzuri operates. First off, owner Jon Tillinghast had visited every camp that he booked us into. That first-hand knowledge has proven invaluable. Secondly, the organization of the trips has been superb. We have found that one of the “secrets” of a relaxing and stress-free vacation is to have perfection in transfers, connections, and the small aircraft flights from camp to camp. Safari Nzuri has been perfect in this aspect of trip planning. We have been totally satisfied with the performance of Jon Tillinghast and his Company and recommend him without reservation.

I wanted
to thank you again for organizing my recent trip to Tanzania and Kenya. And
organized it was! The arrangements were implemented without one problem and the
service and quality of people we encountered were excellent. The Kilimanjaro
climb was preceded with a thorough examination of our equipment and a briefing
by our guide who proved to be excellent, along with the assistant guide and
porters (for just the two of us). The charter flight from Kilimanjaro back to
the Masai Mara was great too. The plane was
comfortable and we were able to see and photograph an array of animals and Masai settlements. The late July schedule coincided with a
very large migration so the time spent at Cheli &
Peacock's fine camp generated excellent viewing and photography opportunities.
Food, service and general comfort in the camp was as good as it gets. Almost
hard to refer to it as a camp. All in all, this was the best vacation I have
ever experienced and exceeded my expectations. Thanks again--and yes, you are
right--I will be rescheduling a future trip back to

It was WONDERFUL. It was everything that I wanted. Just Perfect. ... And I've got the bug. I most definitely will be returning. Now the only dilemma is which of all the great possibilities I should go with next. There are so many places to see and so little time.
